Tamarind Beach Hotel and Yacht Club is a lively hotel set in tropical gardens on a long stretch of white sandy beach. All 40 hideaways are adorned with Brazilian walnut wooden paneling with balconies overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The hotel features Palapa Restaurant, an all-meal dining restaurant with a delightful open terrace, surrounded by tropical gardens right on the water. Menus include a variety of international cuisine dishes, selection of Italian pastas, fresh local fish and delicious pizzas from the wood burning oven. Pirate Cove is an informal bar and restaurant serving snacks, sandwiches, pizzas and pastas. Special evenings include live music and dancing. The Beach Bar is open daily for cocktails and light meals by the pool and beach. Additional hotel amenities include free wireless Internet access, a massage room, babysitting, boat excursions to visit nearby islands, currency exchange, a variety of non-motorized water sports like windsurfing, kayaks, pedalos, hydro bikes and snorkeling equipment, PADI Dive Center, and boutique. Beachfront rooms have a master bedroom with air conditioning, shower, telephone, in-room safe, overhead ceiling fan, mini bar and hair dryer. Upper floor rooms have terraces with a breathtaking view of the Caribbean Sea; ground floor rooms have patios with direct access to the beach. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel.
