Tamanu Beach is a stunning beachfront property located on the Western sunset side of Aitutaki. The property offers 22 bungalows, 2 freshwater swimming pools, 2 bars and a restaurant right on the beach, ideal for evening cocktails or a perfect setting for group weddings or functions. Tamanu Beach has two room types the Studio Bungalows and our One Bedroom Bungalows. The Studio bungalows all feature Full Kitchen facilities, fridge, air conditioning, ceiling fans, hairdryers, safe, IDD Telephone, traditional thatched roofing and hammocks on the veranda. These 12 studio bungalows are complimented with the infinity pool and socialising Sunset hut. With all tide swimming explore the lagoon by kayake or snorkel out to the Giant Clam and see the array of rainbow coloured reef fish. A short bicycle ride and your in the village of Amuri and 10 minutes later your in town not far from anywhere Tamanu Beach Tours and Reception staff will help you choose from the many excursions available at hotels front door. From a 4WD tour or rent a car or motor bike and make your own way around Aitutaki to Deepsea fishing charters, Scuba diving, glassbottom boat tours, Flyfishing, and full day Lagoon Cruises to One Foot Island Tamanu Beach offers you the full Aitutaki Island experience. There are 5 room categories from Garden to Lagoon view to Beachfront however our furthest room to the beach is no more the 60 casual steps away. Important to note is our child policy The hotel welcome children 12 years and over allowing our guests the quite relaxing holiday they have dreamed of become a reality. Tamanu Beach is a Family Run Resort the Henry brothers and extended family offer genuine Aitutakian friendliness and hospitality.
