Takatu Lodge & Vineyard offers a unique experience - the opportunity to stay on a working award-winning vineyard in the heart of charming Matakana, a premium wine-growing and famed farmers-market centre, renowned for its magnificent beaches - and situated less than an hour north of Auckland. Guests enjoy the highest standards of elegance and comfort at Takatu with high vaulted wooden ceilings and hand-cut stone throughout the contemporary lodge which complements the natural surroundings. Open log fires inside and out, a cosy stress-free library and outside landscaped rooms are a few of the many architectural features. The lodge has four very romantic and private luxury suites, all with vineyard views, but two with views to the nearby beach and ocean. In your suite enjoy organic juice, herbal teas and coffees, hand crafted bath salts and aromatherapy candles. Additional Charges: Extra Bed/Person Rates:NZ $122 Payment Terms: In order to confirm a reservation, we require a deposit of 25% of the total stay (this can be secured with a credit card number). If the hotel do not receive the full amount 30 days before the date reserved the hotel deserve the right to re-book the accommodation. All Suites offer: Super-king beds. All bed linen is of natural fibre, with 100% Egyptian cotton (500-thread) and wool. Generous-sized ensuites. Soak in a double bath using handcrafted bath crystals and candles while overlooking gardens and vines. Beautiful European double wash basins, fittings and separate marble and glass showers were considered with your comfort in mind. Heated floors and mirrors. Accessories (shampoo, conditioner, etc) using natural products and hairdryers are also included. Exquisite bathrobes. Computer outlets, CD stations in every room and LCD TV on request. Yoga mats, organic fruit juice, locally handcrafted organic chocolates, locally roasted coffee, tea (including organic & herbal), fresh fruit and other provisions are complimentary. Therapeutic massage can be arranged on request.
