There are a few places in the world that offer the remarkable combination of a historical journey in the onset of undisrupted natural beauty. The coastal Black Sea region of Bulgaria is such a place that still remains a secret tip. The numerous architectural remains, fortress walls and columns testify to Obzor’s millennium-long history. The tribe of the Nipses inhabited the region. Homer wrote about them in his “Odyssey” describing them as they defended Troy. It is the excavation site of the Roman town Heliopolis – the Town of the Sun. In the 16th century the town was even named Gyozeken, which means “beautiful view”. Thus, each corner of Obzor has become a reminder to its glorious past. This naturally and historically woven coastline is home to Sunrise All Suites Resort, a destination to relax and enjoy the sun with friends and family alike.
