The towns of Sherborne; Dorchester and Lyme Regis are all nearby; as is stunning coastal scenery. The Yeovil Junction railway station can be reached in some 15 minutes by car. Facilities The hotel is a beautiful manor house that was designed; in part; by the author Thomas Hardy and built in 1789. With extensive private gardens; a croquet lawn; tennis court; indoor heated swimming pool and spa; this luxurious four-star deluxe hotel lives up to the Relais and Ch teaux motto of the 5 Cs - character; calm; charm; cuisine and courtesy. Comprising a total of 24 guest rooms; the air-conditioned property welcomes guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out service. Facilities on offer to guest include a hotel safe; newspaper stand; bar; conference facilities; WLAN Internet access; room service and a car park. For an additional fee a laundry service is provided. Guests may hire bicycles onsite. Rooms Each of the guest rooms and suites has been individually designed using rich fabrics and antique furniture to create a tranquil haven for guests. The en suite bathrooms are fitted with a shower; bath and hairdryer. Rooms with either double or king-size beds are available.
