Su Barchile is located 1 kilometre from the stunning Sardinian coast, in picturesque Orsei. Newly renovated, the hotel offers modern accommodation and a wonderful restaurant. Discover the spectacular Orosei Gulf from Su Barchile, a great value base in Orsei's historic centre. Kilometres of white sand beaches lie close by and the wild surrounding countryside, with its caves and gorges are great for walks or trips on bikes, which you can hire from the hotel. Bus and boat tours can also be organised. Su Barchile's renowned restaurant offers over 44 different fish dishes as well as homemade pasta and typical Sardinian pork specialities. Breakfast is also a delight - you will be served homemade cheeses, cakes and preserves, a great way to start your day in Sardinia. Orosei, the town of thousand churches, is situated in a fertile valley, where traditional practices coexist in perfect balance. You will discover the spell of an unspoilt Sardinia with its more than 20 km of coast; from the oasis of Bidderosa, an amazing example of centuries-old Mediterranean bush, to Su Barone beach, almost 6 km of shoreline protected by a pine wood. Olbia is the easiest arrival point on the island for Orosei. By Car: - Coming from Olbia's seaport, travel towards Tutte le direzioni: all directions. - Then head for Cagliari, Sassari and Nuoro to enter the SS 131. - Exit at the junction for Siniscola and follow the signs for Orosei, entering the SS 125. From Costa Smeralda airport at Olbia: - Turn left immediately after you leave the airport's street. - Get onto the SS 131 and then proceed as above.
