Strathspey is a small family run BB, where guests are made to feel really welcome and relaxed. All rooms are centrally heated and have en-suite showers with TV, hospitality tray, hairdryer, toiletries, daily change of towels and most important... really comfortable beds to get a good nights sleep. The guest lounge is relaxing with a lovely fireplace, TV and information on places to visit. The breakfast room features cotswold stone wall with inset fireplace. Guests can help themselves to an assortment of cereals, juices, yoghurts and fruit, before receiving an excellant cooked breakfast to order. Dietary needs are also catered for. The cotswold stone cottage is over 100 years old and is located in the quieter side of the beautiful village of Bourton-on-the-Water, famously known as The Venice of the Cotswolds. It takes about 5 minutes to walk into the village centre with all its wonderful shops, eating places and of course, its attractions. Birdland, the Model Village, the Perfumerie and the Motor Museum are all well worth a visit. Strathspey and Bourton-on-the-Water is ideally located for those of you who are more energetic and enjoy walking (we are on the 'Winrush Way' route) or even horse riding and fishing. On your return, why not 'chill out' on the patio in the enclosed south facing garden. Our establlishment is also small enough and homely for families, from far and wide, to come together and 'catch up'. We want you to have a lovely time; so, if you have any special requirements or are celebrating a special event, let us know. Pet dogs need a holiday too!
