The restaurant opens out onto the south terrace which in the summer provides an idyllic area for al fresco dining, pre-dinner drinks and canapes, a barbeque, or simply the perfect place to relax and enjoy the magnificent panoramic scenery. Peake Bistro: Peake Bistro provides the ideal place for guests to relax after their massage or workout and enjoy a cappuccino, fresh fruit juice or delicious meal or snack during their Spa Day. Guests are served their two course Spa Lunches here whilst still relaxing in their towelling robes, overlooking the pool. Clubhouse: To complement the two outstanding courses, a stunning new glass-fronted clubhouse provides members and guests with excellent bar and dining facilities with superb panoramic views over the lake, 1st tee and both 18th tees and greens. In the warmer months members and guests can sit and relax outside on the new south-facing terraces on both levels of the two-storey cluhouse, and enjoy a drink or meal. Bar Hotel Lounge Bar: Our spacious hotel lounge bar adjoins the Lakes restaurant and provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere for pre-dinner drinks or coffee, or a lovely relaxaing area at any time of the day. Soft leather chairs surround a superb central open fireplace which burns sweet-smelling apple wood. We offer the lounge menu throughout the day, serving hot food until 11pm, and cold snacks thereafter. Exit the A12 at the Colchester Central turn-off, picking up the A134 signposted to Sudbury. The distance from the A12 turn-off to the club is approximately 8 miles. Once on the A134, pass through the village of Nayland, ignoring any signage to Stoke-By-Nayland. Once in Leavenheath (still on the A134), pass the Hare and Hounds Public House on the right hand side, and continue a further 200 yards turning right on to the B1068. This is signposted Stoke by Nayland and Stoke by Nayland Golf Club. Proceed along the B1068 for approximately 1.5 miles, and the club is located, and signposted on the right hand side. From Midlands / Cambridge / Sudbury : Join the A14 at the M1 / M6 junction and travel eastwards towards Cambridge. Continue on the A14 past Newmarket to Bury St Edmunds and exit the A14 at the third exit for Bury St Edmunds signposted A134 Bury St Edmunds / Sudbury. Travel south to Sudbury and remain on the A134 in the Direction of Colchester. Pass through the village of Newton Green and upon reaching the village sign for Leavenheath, turn left onto the B1068 to Stoke by Nayland (also signed for The Stoke by Nayland Club). After approximately 1.5 miles the Club is located on the right. From Norwich / Ipswich : Leave Norwich on the A140 and join the A14 in the direction of lpswich. Join A12 in London direction. After approximately 5 miles, take the B1068 signposted Higham and Stoke by Nayland (this is a right turn via a filter across the dual carriageway). Continue along the B1068 passing through the village of Stoke by Nayland. The Stoke by Nayland Club is situated on the left hand side, approximately one mile from the village, towards Leavenheath.
