Just a few blocks from Union Square and the Financial district, the Steinhart is one of the very few intimate hotels that artfully exemplify the essence of the San Francisco residential living. With stunning architecture and sophisticated interiors The Steinhart has recently undergone a total renovation and was featured in House Beautiful magazine. The famed William Sofield who designed for Ralph Lauren and Gucci boutiques designed these spacious and highly stylized apartments reminiscent of a glamorous residence of the 1930's that celebrate the building original architecture supreme contemporary apartments. Each of the one-bedroom apartments and deluxe studios are fully furnished and accessorized. Please note that our front desk is attended daily between 9am and 11pm. To check-in outside of these hours you must pick up your welcome packet (including keys/codes for the Steinhart) at our sister property Hotel Diva, located at 440 Geary Street(between Taylor St. and Mason St.) All guests must show a current government-issued photo ID upon check-in and a valid credit card for incidental charges. Pet Friendly Policy: Small cats or dogs are accepted for a fee to be determined upon check-in. Limit of 2 per room.
