The Sporting Club is one of the Cefalu hotels that sits directly on the water. It is 5 km from the hotel into the center of the old town area. The Sporting Club is 90 km from the airport in Palermo, which is a 90 minute journey by car. The 188 rooms at the Sporting Club have their own sea views and some rooms are bungalow style with private gardens. Rooms include direct dial telephone, balconies, television, and en suite bathrooms. The Sporting Club is a family oriented business and leisure property. In addition to the water sports it facilitates at its private beach, the hotel has an outdoor swimming pool, children’s swimming pool, and a Jacuzzi. There are tennis courts and a mini-football field, and kid’s club activities are organized throughout the day. For meals, the hotel has two restaurants and a sports lounge bar. Themed evenings are offered three nights a week, and these evenings include live entertainment.
