Built in 1934, The South Beach Villas are located in the Art Deco District of South Beach, a block away from the Atlantic Ocean, and approximately 11 miles from Miami International Airport. The property's amenities include the tropical garden (with over 80 species of plants and trees), the De Carlos Bar, serving cocktails, the on-site restaurant Tiki South Beach, serving breakfast, 24-hour front desk, valet parking(fee), fitness center, high-speed Internet access, and concierge desk The South Beach Plaza Villas offers standard King size hotel rooms and Suites for any length of stay. These 1930's king size hotel rooms and Suites have been renovated but yet retain their Spanish Mediterranean heritage. The classical tropical king hotel rooms have been outfitted with the Heritage Collection of fine home furnishings from Urban Rejuvenation Collection. Warm wood tones, luxurious fabrics, exotic marbles, reproduction ambience lighting are the basis for The Urban Rejuvenation Heritage Collection. These look down upon the Exotic Hawaiian Gardens and waterfalls. All the luxuries and comforts of home, and the convenience of a 4 star hotel. Amenities include Air Conditioning, Computer Data port, Flat Screen TV, CD Alarm clock Radio, DVD/VCR player, Voice Mail, Bathrobe, Complimentary Newspapers, Hairdryer, Satellite television, Handicapped room capabilities, In room safe, Laundry Service, International direct dial telephone, Smoke detectors, Voltage 110/120, Wake up call, and Down filled bedding. Also, for your enjoyment, the hotel is offering one complimentary cup of Starbucks filter coffee every morning in the bar area, and beginning on August 1, 2007, the hotel will offer wireless internet access in all the rooms and common areas. * Hotel charges Resort Fee of $8.95/day per room (not included in room rate) payable to hotel directly upon arrival. The Resort Fee includes WIFI, use of Gym, Beach Towels, Newspaper, Wine reception and Snacks, and Continental Breakfast. Rates are based on double occupancy. Charges for extra adults may apply and will be due directly to the hotel. Hotel charges Resort Fee of $8.95/day per room (not included in room rate) at arrival. Guest pays the hotel directly. The Resort Fee includes WIFI, use of Gym, Beach Towels, Newspaper, Wine reception and Snacks, and Continental Breakfast in the morning. Starting on Feb. 1st 2012 the resort fee will be increased to $11.99 + taxes instead since we will add more products to our breakfast and will also include local phone calls .
