The Sol Balmoral hotel lies in Calas de Mallorca and is only a few minutes from the beach (500 m away) and the tourist centre. There are scores of restaurants, shops, bars as well as connections to public transport around 100 m away. The international airport is around 67 m away and the transfer time takes around 1 hour. The 7-storey main building and numerous bungalows consist of a total of 315 double rooms and 48 apartments. The air-conditioned complex offers a lobby with a 24-hour reception, a currency exchange desk and a lift. There is also a small supermarket, a bar, a dining room and an air-conditioned la carte restaurant. The rooms include an en suite bathroom, and a balcony or a terrace. In the large 1000 m outdoor complex there are 4 pools with 2 integrated children's pools, a snack bar as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. Sports enthusiasts are offered billiards/snooker, tennis (2 hard courts, floodlights for an added fee), beach volleyball and table tennis. Guests are offered a wide range of water sport facilities on the beach on payment of an additional fee: The seasonal entertainment programme also adds variety to guests' leisure options. Guests are offered breakfast, lunch and evening meals in the form of a buffet.
