Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea & Spa is a new 5 star resort offering elegantly appointed rooms and suites overlooking the Arabian Gulf. The hotel is located in Zallaq on the west coast of Bahrain, well known for its pristine beach. Manama, the capital city, is a comfortable drive northeast, while the surrounding area is host to the Bahrain F1 circuit, an aqua park and a nature reserve. The resort is a lavish art deco style complex; it celebrates the legendary Kingdom's hospitality with a French flair. Onsite facilities include a 2000sqm thalassotherapy complex, which boasts a fitness centre, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, Jacuzzi, sauna and thermal baths. There is also a hard-court and indoor tennis court, plus guests can try a number of beach and water sports. There are plenty of services for children; numerous clubs will entertain kids under 12 years old, while teenagers will appreciate the video games area. The onsite restaurants and bars provide the perfect setting for relaxing and socialising, offering refined French cuisine with the latest in fusion dishes from around the world. Dining options include a€˜Fiammaa€™, a€˜La Mera€™ and a€˜Pashawata€™, specialising in Italian, seafood and Middle Eastern cuisine respectively. The Luxury rooms are a spacious 43sqm in size and feature a balcony with stunning ocean views. Amenities include a 42 inch HDTV, Bose wave radio with mp3 connection, free Wi-Fi internet access, a cordless phone, tea/coffee facilities and L'Occitane bathroom products.
