108 spacious and comfortable non-smoker rooms with bath- film TV and free wireless Internet. Possibility of extra beds for 2 persons in many rooms and some of the rooms has a terrace. The bar of the hotel is open day and night. Weekend stays- golf holidays and party and banqueting rooms. As a modern conference centre the hotel also offers a variety of group rooms and meeting rooms plus a large plenary room with a capacity of 300 persons. The only thing which is wrapped in this part of Denmark is fish. Otherwise they do not hide anything from you and they do not use more words than strictly necessary. We are in Hirtshals by the Skagerrak and this is not just any sea. It is the North Sea in all its ruggedness situated right down the hill from Montra Skaga Hotel. The hotel is namely placed on the very top and from here you can overlook everything in peace and quiet. the roofs of the town- the harbour with the ferries to Norway and the changing colour nuances of the sea. The sky is high and there is plenty of room at Montra Skaga Hotel both literally and in a figurative sense - both indoors and outdoors. Indoors there is billiard- table tennis and a playroom for the children and outside the hotel there are plenty of interesting attractions to visit. You find wonderful beaches and unique scenery which is best discovered on foot or on two wheels. Within a few minutes by car you reach three beautiful golf courses belonging to the very best in all of Denmark. Every day the chef and his team spare no efforts to make good traditional Danish food based upon the seasonal ingredients - and of course you will find fish dishes on the menu every day. You may choose between the a la carte menu and the Skaga menu which changes every two weeks and in the summer time you may enjoy the food outside on the terrace. Could we perhaps tempt you with rye flour fried Hirtshals plaice with boiled potatoes- cranberry compote and melted butter.
