Shindzela Tented Safari Camp offers affordable guest house accommodation in Kruger National Park, South Africa, for an authentic wildlife safari in an unfenced wilderness environment. Shindzela Tented Safari Camp is a great idea for a safari holiday in South Africa: the Timbavati Private Game Reserve is home to a myriad of mammal species, including Africa's "Big Five" animals (lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo and elephant). Other species of game that you may encounter whilst on safari include hyena, jackal, giraffe, hippo, wild dog, zebra, kudu and impala, to mention just a few and there over 350 bird species recorded in the area. Shindzela Tented Safari Camp can accommodate just 12 guests, offers game drives in open 4 wheel drive vehicles (day and night safari drives), and walking safaris. Wildlife safaris are conducted by professional, experienced safari guides, who will share their knowledge of African flora and fauna with you. The camp has no power, it runs on solar energy, gas and candles: here guests will enjoy the break from modern day life with no televisions or mobile phones.
