The bustling town of Kenmare with its colourful streets is one of the spots in Ireland that the Irish themselves like best. Surrounded by purple heather-coloured mountains and cascading blue waters into Kenmare Bay- the backdrop to this quaint town is breathtaking. Sheen Falls Lodge is not only perfectly placed for exploring the southeast of Ireland- the world famous Ring of Beara- Ring of Kerry and the famous Killarney Lakes- it is also the favourite address for those in the know with its piano-jazz ambience- its collection of old Irish whiskeys- its selection of fine wines as one of Irelands largest wine cellars and the fabulous dishes prepared with the salmon caught in the nearby river. All of this combined with outstanding Irish Hospitality and Celtic legends creates the magic that seems to float over this land. Property closed from 3Jan11 to 31Mar11 except Fridays and Saturdays in February-March and from 31Oct11 to 26Dec11 except Fridays and Saturdays.
