Situated in the magnificent Waterberg Mountain Range of Limpopo, only 2 hours drive from Johannesburg, Zulu Camp at Shambala is the ideal getaway where the weary traveller can relax and revel in the great natural beauty of the Waterberg Mountains - the ideal destination off the beaten track. Situated in such an idyllic setting, Zulu Camp offers its guests the ultimate in luxurious chalets. The game reserve is private, malaria free, home to the Big Five, well as the cheetah, antelopes and spotted hyena. Hippopotamus and Nile crocodiles populate the Sterkstroom River and the Douw Steyn Dam. Together with a varied bird life and tree species, Shambala provides an unequalled wildlife experience. The resort is fully inclusive of the following; - Unlimited private game drives to suit your timetable. - One Elephant back safari per person per stay - Unlimited private boat cruises on the Dam - Star gazing and accompanied bushwalks. - The all inclusive fine dining by our chefs who take pleasure in preparing individual dishes to suit the tastes and preferences of the guests. Dining options also include buffet and full English breakfast, traditional South African Boma Barbecue. A large selection of the finest South African wines, spirits and beverages are all included during your stay. The main Lodge and decked bar overlooking the river and waterfall offer an idyllic setting for all meals. - Guests are accommodated in traditional thatched private chalets with king size beds, oversized baths and outdoor rain showers. To allow guests to fully unwind and relax, all chalets are designated T.V and internet free zones; however a wide screen T.V and Wi-Fi internet is available in the lodge bar. Smoking is not permitted in the chalets, however smoking is allowed on your private balcony and in the public areas. - The resort is unsuitable for children under the age of 16 years. - The Shambala Spa offers a range of traditional massage, facial and mani/pedicure treatments.
