This establishment is located in the district of Lima best known for being a center of the arts. Situated in the Barranco District, the Second Home Peru also enjoys close proximity to the Pacific Ocean. Within this area there are numerous galleries to explore and, not too far away, tourists will find much of the city's other offerings. The city of Lima has its own airport. From the Second Home Peru, one journeys toward the center of the city to reach the Jorge Chavez International Airport. The actual accommodations at the Second Home Peru consist of five bedrooms which are contained within a guesthouse on the property of the larger establishment. The guesthouse has modern design sensibilities but preserves the historical feel. This establishment is located within a Tudor mansion. The Second Home Peru was once a private residence, the home of Peruvian sculptor Victor Delfin. Today, the hotel exists partially as a gallery which contains exhibits of paintings and sculptures by the current owner. The facility is small and was originally constructed in 1912.
