It is ideally positioned at the end of the romantic strasse, close to the Alpsee lake and it benefits from both excellent views of Hohenschwangau and Neuschwanstein castles and easy access for those wishing to visit them on foot or by pony and trap. The restaurant, in Schloss lisl is traditional in style. The hotel is divided into two buildings, the Lisl and the Jaegerhaus which are only a few metres apart. Dating back to 1860, this hotel, built in the style so typical of this region, blends beautifully in with the surrounding countryside. The large lobby is in the main building of the hotel and is fairly modern and formal in comparison to the exterior.
