The region is an excellent place for enjoying the outdoors, as it is surrounded by amazing scenery. From here, guests can see the Gesause' mountain range, beautiful meadows and flowers of many colors. Activities include cycling, rafting, fishing, hiking and horseback riding in the summer. In the winter, ice skating, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and downhill skiing are all possible. There is a mini-golf course in the area, as well. The castle is a great place to spend your relaxation time and it has many areas where you can unwind. There are common areas which are perfect for sitting, reading, chatting and more. You can sit beside the traditional fireplace, which is known as a Rauchkuchi. You can also enjoy sitting in the sauna or playing a game of table tennis.
