Sayang-Sayang Youth Hostel is located right at the centre of Malacca's historic Chinatown, overlooking the Malacca River. It's only a few minutes walk to the historical heritage such as Malacca Clock Tower, The Stadthuys (Oldest Dutch Building in South East Asia), A Famosa (St. Paul Hill), Cheng Hoon Teng Temple, Kampung Kling Mosque, Sri Poyyatha Venayagar Moorthi Temple, Baba and Nyonya Heritage Museum, Cheng Ho Museum, Jonker Street and many others historical heritage. Before embarking on your itinerary, take your breakfast by the Malacca Riverside while allowing the sunshine to warm yourself and thus you will start a brand new day. Just right opposite the Guest House, you can see the distributor of local groceries running their day to day business. You can get a feel of the Malaccan local culture that is rich in nature. Before the sunset, you can see flocks of migratory birds flying around the area through the gentle breeze in elegance. Sometimes you can even catch a glimpse of monitor lizards by the Malacca River as it is known to be their habitat. At nighttime, at the back entrance of Guest House, which is near the Malacca River guests can enjoy themselves relaxing and have drinks while chit-chatting or exchange experiences with guests from other countries. Meanwhile, guests also can enjoying BBQ at the same place.
