The hotel features eight Seiryokan rooms and two Manshokaku rooms that are equipped with a bathroom under the open sky. All of the guest rooms were designed in Japanese style and themes. The private bathrooms of the Sasaya Hotel Chikuma have natural hot spring water flowing through them. The Sasaya Hotel Chikuma has a very interesting and unique design. Many buildings make up the entire complex of the hotel. There is the main lobby as well as annexes and separated rooms. Some of the features of the hotel were designed by Shin Endo, who happened to be a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. There are also ponds on site for fishing and relaxing.
