There are many restaurants in Frederiksted, which is 1/2 mile away and Christiansted which is appromiately 20 minutes away by taxi/car. Sand Castle on the Beach, a beachfront boutique hotel is located on a 2 mile stretch of white sandy beach, one half mile south of the town of Frederiksted. The hotel welcomes children 16 years and older when accompanied by parents. The rate includes complimentary continental breakfast provided seaside at the Beach Side Cafe every morning. Concierge services are offered free of charge at the front desk. On-site water sports include kayaks, snorkeling, free introduction to scuba-diving, scuba-diving, sunset cruises and small vessel sailing by pre-arrangement. On-Site Dining at the Beach Side Cafe, the hotels open-air restaurant that faces the Caribbean Sea and the sunset! Treat yourself to Sunday brunch, lunch and dinner. An eclectic menu is served with daily, featured specials. Enjoy fresh local and flown-in seafood, quality meats, poultry, pasta dishes, soups, breads, vegetarian choices, specialty desserts and more!
