A nineteenth century building behind the Royal Palace and Frogner Park in central Oslo, the Norlandia Saga Hotel is one kilometer from the National Theater and Henrik Ibsen Museum. The 37 guestrooms are decorated in warm tones with light wood furnishings; all come equipped with cable television, minibars, direct-dial telephones and hair dryers. The port of Pipervika lies at the innermost point of Oslo's fjord, 1.5 kilometers away, and is home to a shopping and recreation complex, and the Museum of Norwegian Folklore, 2.5 kilometers away, consists of 140 buildings tracing Norway's cultural history from the Middle Ages. Oslo Gardermoen airport is 40 kilometers from the hotel.
