A cozy small ryokan, well serviced by public transportation with indoor natural mineral hot spring spa (communal baths). Guests can enjoy the relaxing and soak in hot spring baths and atmosphere of a traditional ryokan stay. (0707yy)All rooms are typical Japanese style. There are no western style rooms. All rooms have tatami mat flooring and shoji sliding paper doors, furnished in the traditional Japanese decor and no beds. By night, Japanese futons are laid out in the sleeping area. Although the rooms are equipped with en-suite toilet, there are no private bath or showers in the guestrooms as the ryokan has natural mineral hot spring communal baths which guests can enjoy at any time of the day. The hotel is ideally located in the town centre of Beppu, with the main station nearby. A few minutes walk takes you to the commercial area with a lot of restaurants, bars and shops. The ryokan has a prime location overlooking spectacular Beppu Bay and there is a pleasant footpath leading to the beach. Meals are basically taken in the guest rooms for small group, regarging group meals, Meals will be provided at Japanese banquet rooms. There is no restaurants in this ryokan. A modern brown building. The lobby is small with a small reception area but light, with some sitting spaces. The guests are requested to remove their shoes at the entrance upon arrival and are offered a pair of slippers instead provided for use inside the ryokan.
