This old Vilnius hotel, located in Old Town, is actually built into the city’s original wall. The Rudninku Vartai sets guests in the midst of the historic parts of Vilnius while giving them easy access to its modern attractions, including museums, restaurants, and shops. The Rudninku Vartai is within walking distance of many of Vilnius’s attractions, and guests who wish to ride around the city may do so using Vilnius’s excellent public transportation system. The Rudninku Vartai still includes portions of the wall that Lithuania’s Grand Duke Alexander defended from the Tartars.
