Rose Gate Cottage Bed & Breakfast is located in Findlay, Ohio, a quiet town in northwest Ohio. This bed and breakfast is less than five miles from Jeffrey's Antique Gallery, which offers a 38,000 square foot showroom with 250 antique dealers peddling their wares. Restaurants and shops are located within walking distance, a few blocks away. This rose colored, stucco two story home, built in 1899, features the original hardwood floors, trim and high ceilings. The parlor offers a piano, reading material and a collection of menus from area restaurants. A complimentary full breakfast features entrees such as puffed hot apple pancakes topped with brown sugar and syrup, with a side of sausage. Dinner is available for a fee. The carriage house offers the Lace Room and the Magnolia Room for meetings, parties and retreats. They are joined with glass panels and French doors for ease of view and flow. Each room can seat from 20 25 guests, and features a fireplace. Catering is available on a limited basis. Rose Gate Cottage offers four guestrooms with private bathrooms. Complimentary handmade soaps are provided. Select rooms offer cherry or canopy four poster beds, cable television, jetted tub for two and bathrobes.
