The ’Romantik Hotel Zum Stern’ has been located on the historic Linggplatz since 1411 and is a perfect combination between modernity and tradition. The historical ambiance here is just as genuine as is our hospitality. Our property has been extended throughout the centuries and has always been adapted to the evolving demands. Each of the 45 rooms is unique and yet all of them come with amenities at the highest level. They include a mini bar, direct dial telephone, cable TV, radio as well as spacious bathrooms with a shower and a toilet. Many people consider the Stern’s restaurant "Gute Stube der Hersfelder"(The nice parlour of the Hersfeld population). Wooden dining tables, cosy benches, a fireside and the loving decoration according to the season turn the restaurant into a very cosy venue. Here you are welcome to enjoy the excellent cuisine with a strong regional flair.
