In the very heart of Tuscany, among Florence, Siena, Pisa and Lucca, not far from the unique towers-skylines of San Gimignano and Volterra, the farm-house Rodilosso is located at an height of 500m above sea level, in a wonderful lonely situation, though only 3 km from Montaione, lovely medieval village enjoying a magnificent view on the surrounding countryside: a superb landscape made of green hills, winding paths, cypresses, vineyards and olive groves. A rare charm characterizes the farm. He who reaches Rodilosso, fully plunged in the most absolute quiet and peace, he sees, all of a sudden, a little jewel, set, as a real precious stone, in a natural park of unequalled beauty. All around it, secular trees and a marvellous garden, perfectly harmonizing with the surrounding wood. The ancient farmhouse, dating back to the 17th century, has been carefully restored, taking care to maintain its original character and has been converted into 11 tasteful apartments who derive their singular names from the varicoloured flowers of tuscan countryside. At their inside, the brown tones of the traditional walnut furniture, terracotta tiled floors, wood beamed ceilings and tiled kitchens create a delightful and pleasant warm atmosphere.
