For your New Zealand adventure holidays, come to Murchison at the northern end of the South Island and stay in one of the RiverSong Cottages. Surrounded by mountain views and within walking distance of the Buller River, these cosy cottages are just the place for romantic breaks or rural retreats. RiverSong’s two self-contained cottages can house up to six guests each, and there’s also an affordable studio accommodation for two. All guests have full use of the half-acre gardens where bird sing and fresh fruit and vegetables grow. For complete relaxation and well-being, the friendly staff is happy to arrange a massage, spa bath, sauna, aromatherapy treatment, or kinesiology balance. Outdoor enthusiasts will find almost unlimited things to do in New Zealand. Murchison, at the confluence of the Buller River and the Matakitaki River, is recognized as the Whitewater Capital of New Zealand. There are many excellent stretches of river nearby for whitewater rafting, kayaking, or jet boating. The two rivers are also world-renowned fly fishing destinations. You can hike or horse trek into the mountains in Kahurangi National Park or Nelson Lakes National Park.
