Rissington Inn is located just outside the town of Hazyview, the region’s adrenalin capital. 10 minutes from the Kruger National Park and close to all the attractions of the Blyde River Canyon, the Great Escarpment and the Panorama Route. Golf, riding, rafting, elephant sanctuaries, game reserves and a host of activities are nearby. The 16 individual rooms and suites are surrounded by 10 acres of gardens and offer comfortable, spacious and airy accommodation. All rooms have own entrances and verandas. Each has a private bathroom and the garden suites and hillside suites also offer outside showers. The rooms and the thatched farmhouse are shaded by trees and have views down the valley. Rissington Inn is an affordable country lodge and restaurant in the heart of South Africa’s Mpumalanga Lowveld. Stylish but relaxed and informal, the inn is the perfect stopover on the way to the game reserves and an ideal base from which to explore all that Mpumalanga has to offer.
