The old flour mill factory La Concepcion was renovated in 1996 becoming the Ribera del Duero hotel, originally with 26 rooms and 1 suite and expanded in 2005 to 54 rooms and 1 suite. We have an open conference room that seats 400 and can be use for weddings, meetings and conventions. This unique hotel, set in a lovely setting, is the result of an ambitious project and conversion of a 16th century flour mill. The hotel, located within the periphery of the Penafiel castle, was declared a National Monument in 1917. It offers a cosy and welcoming place to stay and all the quiet and comfortable rooms that have been personally decorated. The La Harinera restaurant combines the tradition, with dishes such as suckling lamb cooked in a log-fired oven, with the more modern cuisine. It also offers an excellent selection of wines. The hotel, situated 56 km. away from Valladolid, is a landmark in Penafiel. The staff can advise you on wine tours and other guided tours in the area.
