The Riad Hcekarram Hotel is a small luxury guest house located in a magnificent setting full of splendour tucked in the walled old city (medina) the north of the Medina, Sidi Ben Slimane in exotic Morocco. Beautifully restored in 2010 by Master Craftsmen, this peaceful 3 Star haven makes a comfortable base for couples and families with 5 individually designed and equipped guestrooms. Guests to the Riad Hcekarram Hotel can explore the Souikka Bab Doukkala (small Arabic market) which is enjoyed by both Moroccans and visitors alike, delight in all the famous attractions and interesting villages nearby, and experience real Moroccan hospitality. Marrakesh Menara Airport is 5 km from the hotel. Local Tips: Purchases are negotiable and debatable within 40% (except in some shops reported). Be sure to negotiate, trade, enjoy, take your time and stay calm. Beware of very expensive "antiques" and avoid copies (Lacoste, Rolex, etc) that may cause you trouble at the airport back home. A local tax is payable per person per night, this is paid direct to the hotel in Morocco Dirhams. Local taxes vary, on average they are from £1 to £3 per person per night.
