A 14th Century Country House situated on the Welsh border of the Wye Valley, the Rhydspence is a former drovers inn that enjoys magnificent views of the Welsh hills and picturesque Herefordshire countryside. It is the perfect place to meet, relax and catch up with friends old and new. Guests can relax in the cosy lounge around an open log fire whilst enjoying the beautiful panoramic views. Treat it as your own country home, or be our guest as we serve you in the 14th century bar. Our award winning breakfasts are served in the Drovers Kitchen and are guaranteed to prepare you for a day of exploring the local area. Alternatively you can enjoy the landscaped terraces and gardens that make the outside of the Rhydspence as attractive and a relaxing place to be as the inside. Enjoy a drink whilst listening to the bird song and appreciating the good fortune we have living in this particular corner of this green and pleasant land. On the other hand it might just rain.
