Business hours of reception: 24 hours The Residencia Real Castillo de Curiel is the most ancient fortress in the province of Valladolid and it was built in the Roman period. The surrounding walls are probably from the 7th century. The first documentation about the castle dates from the 11th century. The building belonged to several kings and queens of Castile and Leon. We provide 23 comfortable rooms and all of them are equipped with a bathroom with a bath tub, a shower and a hair dryer, air-conditioning, a safe, a mini-bar, a TV, a telephone, internet access, a desk, coffee making facilities and a balcony. Rooms for non-smokers and for disabled people are also available. There are a cosy restaurant and a banquet room for up to 200 guests. You can enjoy traditional dishes from the Castilian cuisine as well as medieval recipes from the 3 cultures that inhabited the valleys: the Christians, the Jews and the Muslims. For leisure, we recommend you to dispose of the swimming pool, a solarium, the bike rental and the entertainment programme. We can also arrange falcon exhibitions, horse riding and mini-bus excursions to nearby monuments and castles.
