Located in one of the Alps largest skiing centres, the Residence Maeva Charvet et Villards residence offers accommodation just 50 metres from the ski slopes. Furnished in pine and simply decorated, the 188 studios and apartments all offer fully-equipped kitchenettes with hotplates, mini-ovens or rotisseries, and refrigerators. Pay cable television and private bath or shower rooms are also provided. Families with young children can take advantage of the nearby nursery (one to three year olds) and the mini club (three to eight year olds) providing a range of activities from snowman building to ski lessons. Baby kits including a high chair and infant bed are also available to hire on site. During the summer season, visitors can enjoy such activities as swimming, hiking, mountain climbing and golf. Over the winter months visitors have direct access to extensive skiing opportunities, as well as dog sleds and ice skating. The nearest airport is Chambery, 124 kilometres from the resort; the nearest train station is Bourg Saint-Maurice TGV, 17 kilometres away. ; ;The studio apartments, north or south facing, include two single beds in the lounge, two bunk beds in the entrance or two folding beds in an alcove, and bathroom. The kitchenette includes two hotplates, refrigerator, and mini-oven or rotisserie. Most studio apartments include a balcony, vacuum cleaner and dishwasher. The one-bedroom apartments include a lounge with two single beds, one bedroom with two bunk beds and one single bed on a mezzanine, as well as a bathroom with separate toilet (with the exception of two apartments). The kitchenette includes three hotplates, refrigerator, mini-oven, and dishwasher (in most apartments). Most apartments also include a balcony and vacuum cleaner.
