Towering above the medieval town of Saint-Lizier, the Residence Le Domaine du Palais with its terraces offers splendid panoramic views of the Pyrenees. This historic and important estate is listed among the UNESCO world cultural heritage since 1998. It was restored under ward of the Batiments de France et des Monuments Historiques. It is also the ideal starting point to explore the Ariege region. The hotel features 86 apartments, each one suitable for a maximum of 6 people. The accommodations can be found in 5 different buildings, including 2 new ones. Having a size of 35 m² to 69 m², the apartments come with a separate bedroom or a living room with sofa bed, one or 2 cosy sleeping corners for kids, a TV with international channels, as well as a fully-equipped kitchen which opens to the living room. A baby cot is available for a fee. Saint-Lizier is a town full of history and art. The former Roman Old Town is among the most beautiful French villages. Here you can visit the old cathedral with its convent, as well as the Pharmacie de l’Hotel-Dieu. The surrounding mountains of Couserans are the ideal place for walks and trips. The final cleaning of the apartments is included in the price. Business hours of reception: Every day: from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 14:30 to 19:00 .
