The chalet complex of Le Cheval Blanc, with its interior courtyards and winter garden, is located directly on the slopes of Val Thorens at an altitude of 2,300 metres. The 163 apartments sleep between 4 and 8 people and all are decorated in a typical alpine style with wooden panelling, simple furnishings, and balconies. Apartments are equipped with cable television, direct-dial phones and complimentary wireless Internet access. Kitchenettes come equipped with ovens, hot plates, fridges, dishwashers, coffee/tea makers, cutlery and crockery. The restaurant Le Chaudron Magique serves traditional French cuisine, local specialities, as well as international dishes in a typical chalet-style setting. Guests can ski straight in and out of the hotel, and after a day on the piste, unwind in the sauna and Turkish bath. The hotel's gift shop is stocked with souvenirs. Those arriving with their own transport can make use of the onsite garage parking. The ski lifts and slopes of Val Thorens are located right outside the hotel and guests can find ski schools and nursery facilities near the hotel. A nearby sports centre has a wealth of apres ski activities, while non-skiers can while away the day in the nearby Health Centre l'Espace Yin Yan, with its Turkish baths, saunas, sun beds and massages.
