The Artemura Residence is in the heart of the city of Pistoia, a few steps away from the Longobard Piazza della Sale, today home of the most colourful fruit and flower markets and the impressive Piazza del Duomo, where it is possible to admire buildings which symbolize civil and religious power in the city: the 13th century Palazzo Comunale, Palazzo Pretorio, the Romanic cathedral with its silver alter dedicated to the patron saint of the city, St. Jacopo, the baptistery and the ancient Palazzo dei Vescovi, today home of the Museo Capitolare and Museo Archeologico. The building is situated in the heart of Pistoia, just a short walk from Piazza Della Sala which today is home to a charming fruit, vegetable and flower market. The recently-refurbished hotel boasts an internal view of a secret garden that overlooks the famous St-Andrew's church. The residence is composed of 20 individual apartments of different dimensions, served by a lift. Each apartment contains a private bathroom and cooking area.
