Refron du Mar is located on Paraty´s main beach - Praia do Pontal. It's a place to relax and enjoy everything that Paraty has to offer. Paraty is an old historical town that was colonised by the Portuguese in 1667, an area originally populated by the Guianas Indians. The majority of Paraty´s original architecure has been preserved so that whitewashed houses, buildings and, most notably, the churches date back over 250 years. The streets are reknowned for their irregular cobblestones and all this sits on the beautiful Bay of Ilha Grande. The Pousada - this new beach home in Paraty allows you to luxuriate in unique experiences like having breakfast on the beach, with your feet buried in the sand and listening to the sound of the ocean. The hostel strives to make you feel at home while offering guests with good food, clean rooms and various activities. All rooms come complete with television, bed sheets, towels and wardrobe. Free WiFi is also accessible. The staff of the Hostel & Pousada Refron du Mar are at your disposal: they can organise excursions and tours for trips to Trindade and Praia do Sono, the waterfalls, natural pools and caves - Paraty is full of natural beauties.
