Nestled in a secluded bay in the stunning Marlborough Sounds, Raetihi Lodge offers the ultimate in hospitality. Rated 4 Star plus, Raetihi sets its own standards for gracious and unsurpassed hospitality. The 14 rooms provide everything to ensure comfort and relaxation - hosting up to 31 guests - perfect for couples, an intimate wedding or a conference. The rooms are designed to help you relax and enjoy the stunning scenery of the Marlborough Sounds in comfort. All rooms have doors opening out onto a deck with table and chairs so you can soak in the atmosphere. THere are also deck chairs on the lawn so you can unwind and enjoy the panoramic views or simply curl up with a book and enjoy the sunshine. Arrival here is spectacular by road, water or air. Water Taxi is the most convenient method of transport and departs from Picton at 10.30am and 1.45pm daily. The drive is very scenic and takes approximately 3 hours from Blenheim or Picton. The road is not sealed all the way to the Lodge. Contact if you require any assistance with transportation as can advise you on the best method of transport and assist you with the booking as well. Guests can explore the Sounds, enjoy fishing, diving and hiking or simply relaxing with a massage, strolling the shore and enjoying the finer things in life. Complimentary bikes, kayaks and fishing rods are available for guest use. After a day of excursion in the Sounds, it is ideal to soak in spa and relax. Enjoy a quiet afternoon in guest lounge to read a book or to play some indoor game. For executive meetings, provide private conference facilities with presentation equipment, internet and email access. The restaurant provides an ideal venue for an upscale dining experience with stunning views out to the waters of Kenepuru. The cuisine is an ever-changing feast of seafood and fresh local produce prepared by chef, complemented by the finest regional wines. The outdoor decks are the perfect venue to relax over a casual lunch, snack or light dinner.
