The Quality Hotel Fredrikstad is centrally located in the heart of the city and is only a short drive away from the cities of Oslo and Gothenburg. Downtown Fredrikstad and Fredrikstad Harbor are both minutes away and boasts a variety of entertainment venues, shopping centers and restaurants. Founded in 1567 by King Frederik II, Fredrikstad is situated near Norway's southeastern coast and straddles the River Glomma. This region boasts a variety of cultural attractions, mixing the old with the new, along with breathtaking scenery and vast agricultural landscapes. A modern building. A spacious lobby with ample seating. In addition to standard amenities, all of the guest rooms are non-smoking rooms that are air conditioned. There is no restaurant at the hotel but excellent local restaurants are nearby. 100 kms to the airport (oslo-gardermoen), 2 km to the nearest station (fredrikstad railway station), 40 kms to the airport (moss airport, rygge).
