Qasr El Bawity is located in Bawity the modern capital of the Bahareya oasis which is the closest of the western desert oasis to Cairo (360km). El Bawity is rich with both natural and historic sites and attractions that date back to the Pharaonic and Greco-Roman civilizations. The hotel offers 34 rooms and 4 suites that are built using the traditional local methods, each including a private bathroom. Each of the suites has a unique design, two of which include a private hot spring and swimming pool. Qasr El Bawity is an ecolodge set in the middle of a lush palm grove. It is built and decorated in the traditional style. Eco-friendly construction techniques of ancient Egypt were revived for building the lodge.
