Our Basingstoke South Premier Inn has everything you'd expect, with comfortable beds in every room, free parking and an on site restaurant. The Wheatsheaf Chef and Brewer has a wide selection of Cask Ales, lagers and Wines. The menu includes such items as Surf and Turf, Sea Bass Fillets,and Venison Medallions to name a few of the dishes on offer. This is also complimented by monthly specials and themed menus to give our guests something a bit different. The wheatsheaf was also frequented by the author Jane Austen, who famously wrote Pride and Predjudice and Emma. The main building has changed very little since then. The Wheatsheaf also has a large Function room which is ideal for Birthdays, Funerals, Weddings or Meetings. Premier Inn Basingstoke South is conveniently located near M3 J7. Our prime location makes it easy to join the M3 for and head Eastbound for Central London, London Heathrow and London Gatwick Airports. If you head Westbound you can easily find Paultons Park, Peppa Pig World, Southampton Docks or Marwell Zoo. Basingstoke Town Centre is only 6 miles away , and has a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Also on the way into town is Festival Leisure Park.
