Praya Palazzo is a stylish 17-room mansion with a rich historical background to offer a unique experience for the discerning travelers. Dating back to the ancient kingdom of Siam, the mansion is situated in the heart of Bangkok on the bank of the Chao Phraya River, one of the most significant rivers in Thailand. The Praya Palazzo is the only historical residence of its kind. Ideal for travelers who want to relax while enjoying city life in the oldest part of Bangkok, The Praya Palazzo is in walking distance of many interesting historical sites such as The Grand Palace, The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Aroon (The Temple of Dawn), China Town and The National Museum, just to name a few. The Praya Palazzo brings back the sense and lifestyle of the King Rama V period, conveying authentic Thai culture through vision, taste, scent, rhyme and touch. Individual travelers will experience outstanding service, great personalized care and an eye for fine details. The access to the mansion is by barges. To provide the utmost convenience to our guests, the traditional wooden barge, particularly selected to fit with our historical mansion, is always ready for the transportation. Our guests will be able to experience the authentic way of old day life across Chao Phraya River. It is our first priority to provide a safety trip from the mansion to two available piers; Rajathiwas Temple Pier and Phra Athit Pier (N 13). Our long experience captains are certified by the Water Transportations Authority and professionally trained to meet any of your needs while you are on board with us. Praya Dining is a delightful genuine cuisine in a traditional setting with both authentic Thai and Western. Our ingredients are from the organic Royal Project. The restaurant is available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We serve the historical authentic Thai recipe along with a range of superb western dishes. Besides, a variety of beverages is provided to fresh up your energy.
