We would like to invite you to spend some time here at our luxury B&B Penvith Barns in sunny Cornwall. Whilst we cannot guarantee wonderful weather we can guarantee you will have a wonderful time. Many of our guests are return visitors and for those of you who were fans of our predecessor Alison we can promise you the same level of attention to detail and warmth of welcome that you have come to expect from Penvith Barns. All our rooms have been decorated and furnished to the highest standards whilst maintaining a relaxed country feel. Every room is en-suite and from the Cornish cookies on the welcome tray to the silent fridge everything is aimed at giving you the best holiday experience we can. Having spent the last twenty years living in Sydney Australia we decided it was time to come home to England to get back to our roots. Once we discovered Penvith Barns we couldn’t wait to offer our unique blend of professionalism and warmth to our guests. The location is fantastic being so close to the lovely town of Looe. The Barns boasts the remains of a 13th century water wheel pit which you can see under a glass floor. There is rumoured to be a smugglers tunnel running from it but as it is 15 feet below ground level we haven't found it yet. We have a Jacuzzi situated on the hillside with expansive views over the beautiful Cornish countryside. The best possible place to sit and enjoy a glass of champagne before going out to dinner to one of the fantastic restaurants that are just a stone’s throw from Penvith Barns. We are ideally placed to visit all Cornwall's major holiday attractions the Monkey Sanctuary The Eden Project beautiful stately homes like Anthony House or Cotehele and fabulous gardens like Trevano Helligan and Pine Lodge to name a few. The Looe Area is a gastronomic delight with excellent restaurants to finish off your day and send you to bed looking forward to more lovely adventures tomorrow!
