The Palazzo di Valli is right in the center of historic Siena. It sits on a hill, surrounded by an enormous garden filled with olive trees, and is only a short walk from downtown Siena. Nearby is the Piazza del Campo and many of Siena’s major historic attractions, museums, and restaurants. The Palazzo di Valli is directly in the center of Siena, within walking distance of downtown’s public transportation system. The inside of the Palazzo di Valli is a mixture of ancient and modern, and while the hotel may look antique, it is full of contemporary amenities such as hair dryers, televisions, and air conditioning. Several of the rooms are accessible to the disabled, and pets are allowed in the hotel. The Palazzo di Valli looks ancient, as it is actually an 18th century villa. The hotel has been carefully restored, focusing on the 18th century decoration and furnishing style of the Tuscan area. The hotel does, however, offer modern amenities such as safety deposit boxes and around-the-clock room service.
