Location Situated right in the heart of Viseu old town, in a building of great architectural and historical-cultural value, this charming city hotel is part of one of the seven doors of the old Afonsina city walls, Porta de Soar de Cima. Restaurants, bars and shops can be found right on the hotel's doorstep, while attractions such as the cathedral, Grao Vasco Museum and Parque do Fontelo are all less than 1 km from the hotel. It is an 80-minute drive to the Serra da Estrela skiing region, 20 km Facilities This air-conditioned hotel is housed in a symbolic building, respecting its original architectural standards. In the main building one can find all the luxury of an authentic palace with deluxe and superior category rooms. The modern standard category rooms are located alongside the main building. The hotel was opened in 2007 and offers 27 guest rooms in total, as well as a lobby area with 24-hour reception, currency exchange facilities, lift access and WLAN Internet access. Guests can relax in the cafe, bar or TV lounge or dine in the hotel's restaurant. Room and laundry services are provided and guests arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the nearby car park. Rooms The standard rooms are equipped with an en suite bathroom with shower, hydromassage bath and hairdryer, as well as individually regulated air conditioning, an in-room safe, minibar and Internet access. A direct dial telephone and satellite TV are also included in all rooms as standard. Sports/Entertainment There is a golf course at the hotel and guests can also go horse riding. Meals The hotel's restaurant serves a continental breakfast while lunch and dinner can be taken a la carte. Lunch can alternatively be selected from a set menu.
