Built in 2007, the nostalgic feel of this family friendly beach hotel comes from an architectural style based on the senses. The style is a unique one, at times echoing the classic model of folkloric architecture. The main part of the building comprises a quadrangle of solid walls, modulated by local Carparo and Ostunese stone. These are, in turn, refined and lightened by the white of the balconies which feature a typically Mediterranean 2-colour decoration. The building is topped by 2 large, light cross vault arches in wood. Thus technical and material concepts are worked into a functional structure with a total of 21 rooms spread over 3 floors, offering all the comforts. This establishment is ideal for those travelling for business as well as for holidaymakers. Facilities on offer to guests at this air-conditioned establishment include a lobby area with a 24-hour reception and check-out service, a hotel safe, a cloakroom, a lift and 2 cafes. It also offers a newspaper stand, a hairdressing salon, a bar, a games room and a restaurant. Guests may also take advantage of the room service and WLAN access point as well as a piano bar, spacious and inviting meeting rooms and lounges and a multimedia room. There is parking and a covered garage available for those arriving by car. Guests wishing to explore the area by bicycle will find a cycle hire station at the hotel and the younger guests will enjoy the children's playground and the kids' club. This hotel is situated near the historic centre of San Vito Dei Normanni, set amongst countryside. The surrounding area is soaked in a sense of history and ancient traditions, where popular religion is fused with an ancient sense of the mystical power inherent in popular music and celebrations. The sandy beach at Specchiolla is just a 10-minute drive away and the nearest shopping venues are at Auchan. The town of Brindisi is 15 minutes away, Lecce is 30 minutes and Taranto is also 30 minutes.
