The Paistos Hotel in Paestum, on the coast of Cilento in the South of Naples, is located only about 500 feet/150 meters from the sea and about 2 miles/3 km from the ancient city of Paestum, an area of particular interest from the archaeological point of view. Elegantly furnished in Mediterranean style, the small Hotel Paistos offers its guests the opportunity for a romantic holiday on the Italian sea, together with the possibility for tasting the regional gastronomic delights. Excursions to the ruined cities of Pompei, and Hercolaneum, to Mt. Vesuvius, Padula, the Isle of Capri, the Amalfi coastlines and into the Cilento region can be booked directly through the hotel. At the Paistos, there are 2 indoor restaurants and one outdoors, offering both local specialties and international cuisine, and a conference room, which can be used for ceremonial occasions, providing seating for 150 people. Also, the hotel in Capaccio has its own private beach, a solarium, and bar. Groups are welcome and tourist guides provided on request.
